ZeusRex
OK, maybe I'm thinking too much, but has anyone tried disassembling a MD, drilling out the centre to the same hole size as a CD, and then plunking the disc into a CD Rom player? Is there any chance that the CD Rom player would be able to read the information? :wacky:
Christopher
Absolutely impossible, as it's an optical medium [that uses a different wavelength, etc etc] that is unreadable by convential CD players.
Daijoubu
You can however gets a slot-loading MD (Sharp have some of those) Drill a hole in a 5"25 bay, stick in it Power it from a molex connector (you'll have to lower the 5V with a diode or something) Plug the output to your soundcard
